Today I have updated my poster for Daydream. First I had to remove the background on my photo and then seperate all the images like my background and my title into separate layers.

I had to find the title font and colour it red. I found my chosen font on 1001 freefonts under the horror category.I ended up using the paint tool to paint the font The font I chose to use is a font that I have seen being used by Horror for example it is somewhat similar to the font used for "The Texas chainsaw massacre" only with a few minor differences for example the font colour in mine is red rather then white and the writing style Isn't identical just very similar.I decided to use the graffiti in the background as a tag line, as it seemed like a great idea at the start. "It was more fun in hell" This fits in with the dark atmosphere of the poster.. I also used a brush type tool to colour all the black writing red so it would stand out against the black and white background and fits the dark blood theme. Then I had to paste the 15 rating logo which I got off google images onto the bottom of the poster.I needed to reduce the size of the logo so it did not appear too prominent on the poster. I also had to photoshop out the logo on my clothing so it wouldn't distract attention from the title and wouldn't mask the colour of the title.

I also added the release date initially the same red colour as the title but it was much harder to read so I had to change it to the white colour and add a shadow effect to make the release date more visible while the shadow effect gives off a more contrasting look to the white jumper I was wearing at the time of filming. I also had to make the red title slightly darker so that it wouldn't be too bright. I didn't however have to modify the background even though I had to be careful when scaling the background so it wasn't too pix elated and you could actually tell what it is.
